This year, together Frank Ryan and St. Pius donated more than 7,500 items to the Shepherds of Good Hope. Thank you to all who supported the canned food challenge!
Frank Ryan students will be going to the Rideau Canal to experience Ottawa's festival, Winterlude on Thursday, February 16. Information packages with permission forms were sent home with students on Friday. The fee is $5 and may be paid by School Cash-On-Line. Parents of Grade 8 students going into Grade 9 are invited to an information session on Wednesday February 15th from 7:15 - 8:00 pm in the cafeteria. Students going into grade 10-12 are also invited to a presentation in the Learning Commons from 6:30 - 7:00 pm.
Grade 6 parents are cordially invited to Frank Ryan CIS on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at 6:00pm. Teachers, students will discuss some of the aspects of school life here at Frank Ryan. The evening will include a mini tour of the key areas of the school and the Leadership Team as well as Support Staff will be on hand to answer any questions. Subway Lunches are scheduled for the following 5 Wednesdays: January 25, February 8, February 22, March 8, and March 22. Orders MUST be made for all 5 lunches. Subway orders may be purchased online, by cash, or cheque (made payable to Frank Ryan School). If needed, paper order forms are available in the office. Students may select 6 inch ($5.00) or 12 inch ($7.00) subs. When ordering please make sure you choose type of bread, sandwich, topping and dressing. Over 300 parents/guardians gathered to hear Dr. Clinton speak about a number of topics relating to relationships, parenting, children and youth. Frank Ryan received very positive feedback about the presentation. Please click on the following link to view the presentation.
