Meet the Teacher

Tomorrow, Thursday, September 21st, you are invited to 'Meet the Teacher' at Frank Ryan Catholic Intermediate.  The program will begin in the gymnasium at 6pm.  After the opening words parents/guardians will be invited to visit their child's homeroom and meet their child's teachers.

Game On - Summer Sports Camp

Summer School - July 5 - 26, 2017

Summer School forms are available in the Guidance office or at (   Students currently in grade 6, 7 and 8 can register for a half-day Numeracy/Literacy course designed to enhance English and Math skills.


Students can pre-register at Frank Ryan until June 28th, 2017.  On-site registration will take place Wednesday, June 28th, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00p.m., at St, Nicholas Adult High School (893 Admiral Avenue, Ottawa).  Students must bring their signed (by school principal or designate) registration forms for on-site registration.  The summer school phone number is 613-723-7757.

Frank Ryan "WINS" Canned Food Challenge

This year, together Frank Ryan and St. Pius donated more than 7,500 items to the Shepherds of Good Hope.   Thank you to all who supported the canned food challenge!

Royals X-Men Canned Food Challenge

Each year during lent we hold the Royals X-Men Canned Food Challenge.  It is a friendly competition with St. Pius to see who can collect the highest average per student of food items. All items are donated to the Shepherds of Good Hope.  This is Year 6.  In total we have raised 44,286 food items.  This year the drive will run February 23 - March 9th.   Let's keep the Trophy at Frank Ryan again this year!!!   The Shepherds of Good Hope is looking forward to filling their shelves with our donations...

Parent/Teacher Interview Booking

Report Cards are being sent home tomorrow, Friday, February 17th.  Parent/Teacher interviews are scheduled for Thursday, February 23,  from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm.  Parents can book interviews electronically on Saturday, February 18th, starting at 9:00 am.  Please click on the following link this will bring you to the booking calendar and instructions on how to proceed.  The booking calendar does not become live until Saturday at 9 AM  If you have any concerns or questions please do not hesitate to call the school at 613-224-8833.

Rideau Canal Day

Frank Ryan students will be going to the Rideau Canal to experience Ottawa's festival, Winterlude on Thursday, February 16.  Information packages with permission forms were sent home with students on Friday.  The fee is $5 and may be paid by School Cash-On-Line.  Please click on the following link to read the letter that was sent home.

St. Pius X High School Invitation

Parents of Grade 8 students going into Grade 9 are invited to an information session on Wednesday February 15th from 7:15 - 8:00 pm in the cafeteria.  Students going into grade 10-12 are also invited to a presentation in the Learning Commons from 6:30 - 7:00 pm.
