41st Annual Turkey Trot of Hope Fundraiser

Hello.

Earlier today we unveiled our 41st annual Turkey Trot of Hope Presentation to the students. Click here to view.

As many of you are aware, the Turkey Trot of Hope is a very important tradition at Frank Ryan. We are asking students to help fundraise for some very worthy charities. This year, we expect to surpass the $1000000 mark (One Million Dollars!!) of total funds raised by Frank Ryan Students! That is quite the accomplishment and a tradition that students should be very proud to be able to participate in.

On Thursday, October 7th, students will participate in approximately a 3.5 km walk around the community with their classmates, wearing their Homeroom T-Shirts. It is always a great sight to witness and the students always enjoy the day.

All information is found in this parent letter.

We ask that you:

1. Encourage your child to fundraise. Parents are asked to collect all donations and make a single contribution on School Cash Online. Donations are to be marked on the pledge sheets that students were given today. Pledge Sheets to be returned to school/homeroom teacher on/by Tuesday, October 12th.

2. Either fill out the permission form sent home OR complete this form for your child to participate. (the electronic form is much easier and faster!)

3. Make a single donation using School Cash Online from funds raised by your child and have the pledge sheet return on Tuesday, October 12th.

4. Ensure your child is dressed with appropriate footwear to walk 3.5 km on Thursday, Oct 7th. All information is found in the parent letter.

Thank you for your continued support.
